8 Chifley, a 34-storey office building in Sydney designed by RSHP with Australia’s Lippmann Partnership, has won the New South Wales Australian Institute of Architects’ award for best Commercial Architecture.
RSHP architects from the Sydney office collected the award with their project partners at an industry event at the heritage Doltone House venue at Jones Bay Wharf, where they also picked up commendation awards for sustainability and innovative use of steel in architecture.
8 Chifley is now shortlisted for the National Architecture Awards (the equivalent of the UK’s Stirling Prize), which will be announced on Thursday 6 November in Darwin.
