Capital Health Exhibition at the Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT
11th October to 26th November 2005 (subject to extension) Maggie's Centre, Charing Cross, designed by Richard Rogers Partnership will feature in the forthcoming Capital Health Exhibition at the Building Centre. Showcasing healthcare buildings in London, the exhibition will include both existing and proposed buildings such as Great Ormond Street Hospital Weston House, International Children's Eye Hospital, Moorfields and Kentish Town Care Centre
Lecture - 18th October, Building Centre, 6.30pm
Charles Jencks and Ivan Harbour will be giving a lecture on the Maggies Centre, London as part of a lecture series accompanying the Capital Health exhibition. Charles Jencks, architecture critic and co-founder of Maggies Centres will give an introduction, providing some background to the charity and its work. Ivan Harbour, director at the Richard Rogers Partnership will discuss the design concept behind Maggie's London, which will start on-site in 2006.
Although the lecture is free to attend, a suggested entry fee will help towards the fundraising campaign for Maggie's London.
