The RSHP Constitution enshrines ideas about community, teamwork, equity, collaboration and social responsibility.

 

The constitution states: ‘The practice of architecture is inseparable from the social and economic values of individuals who practice it and the society which sustains it’.

 


Ownership

The practice is entirely owned by a charity.  No director has direct equity in the company.


Pay

The highest paid director is paid a capped multiple of the lowest paid architect of two years standing.


Profit

The company's profit is divided between employee profit sharing, contributions to charity and investment


Charity

Employees of two years standing are allocated a sum to be donated to a charity of his/her choice


Environment

The practice avoids work for military projects, prisons
or arms manufacturers
