
Amarjit Kalsi

Amarjit is a Director at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and has worked on a number of key projects including Lloyd’s of London on which he spent six years. Amarjit is currently Director in Charge of two new subway stations in Naples, Italy. The first one, Capodichino is at Naples Airport, and is designed as a major subway interchange; the second is Santa Maria Del Pianto. Other projects in Europe range from a series of bus shelters and street furniture for Adshel and Cemusa to an interior light for the Italian lighting company, Reggiani. Amarjit is also involved in larger scale projects such as the Mantua Stadium in Italy. Previously, Amarjit was Director in charge of the Learning Resource Centre, Thames Valley University, Slough, and various projects in France including Port Aupec, Bordeaux Law Courts and the European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg. Additional London projects include: Terminal 5, Heathrow Airport, London; SmithKline Beecham, Brentford; 88 Wood Street, London; the Millennium Experience, London; and Montevetro, a residential scheme in London.
Amarjit has worked on numerous other projects worldwide including the Antwerp Law Courts and Leuven Train Station in Belgium, New Area Terminal, Barajas Airport, Madrid and Bitagora Hotel and Business Park, Barcelona, Spain and the Lille Region Nord Competition, France. He enjoys design from competition/concept through to detailed design development, fabrication and construction and working on projects that are both micro and macro in scale.
