Valladolid masterplan wins the MIPIM Future Project Award
RSHP’s Valladolid masterplan has won the Regeneration and Masterplanning category of the 2009 MIPIM Architectural Review Future Project Awards. The awards dinner and presentations will be held at the Palm Beach Casino in Cannes on the evening of 11 March 2009. The MIPIM exhibition takes place in Cannes between 10 and 13 March.
The MIPIM Future Projects Awards are for unbuilt or incomplete projects spanning eight categories - Big Urban Projects, Offices, Regeneration and Masterplanning, Tall Buildings, Mixed Use, Retail and Leisure and Sustainability. The awards have been running since 2002 and take place at MIPIM, the international property market, which will attract over 20,000 delegates to Cannes. With a strong focus on creativity, these awards are a chance to showcase schemes that are examples of excellent architecture, but have also responded to clients' development briefs, and considered the way in which they will impact and contribute to the community around them.
