RRP to design Tower 3 at WTC site
Richard Rogers Partnership has been commissioned to design ‘Tower 3’ on the site of the World Trade Center in New York City.
Tower 3 – which will include two million square feet of office space at 175 Greenwich Street - will be the first of the proposed five towers to be constructed on the site. The Masterplan also includes provision for a performing arts center, cultural center, memorial museum and transportation hub.
RRP is also currently working on several other major schemes in New York, including the redevelopment of the Jacob Javits Convention Center and the design of a new studio and office complex at Silvercup West.
