Richard Rogers Pritzker Prize
Richard Rogers has been named as the 2007 Laureate of the Pritzker Architecture Prize. The purpose of the Prize is to honour annually a living architect whose built work demonstrates a combination of those qualities of talent, vision and commitment, which has produced consistent and significant contributions to humanity and the built environment through the art of architecture.
Richard Rogers said: "I am extremely happy and proud to be named as the 2007 Laureate. The Pritzker Architecture Prize is a great honour for an architect and architecture. It also includes the contributions of all the creative people I have worked with during my career. I would like to share this prize with them and thank them all."
