Alistair Wood, AEG Europe
Louise works in all aspects of the business combining project work with business management.
She joined the practice in 1990, became an Associate in 1999 and was made an Associate Partner in 2011. Louise’s design experience covers feasibility through to detail design and site work for some of the practice’s early key projects. In her role she has worked with multi-disciplinary teams to evolve design work for projects in the UK, Europe, the States and the Far East. Louise’s supports many of our projects in the early stages of their development. Her experience covers a wide range of building types including work on larger scale infrastructure projects such as Heathrow Terminal 5 , and the competition stage of Lyon Airport and on smaller scale projects such as the Mossbourne Community Academy, Research and Development with Circle on Off Site Hospital Buildings and, the much more light hearted, Up at the O2 Project.
Louise is currently leading our team in reworking designs for the Berkeley Hotel Project which has restarted after stalling for eight years. This central London project is complex and involves a number of phased additions to an existing building as well as a large extension.
Louise plays an active role in the management of the practice to help ensure that the ethos of the company is upheld and staff concerns are heard. In these matters she is closely involved with the work of human resources and our practice support teams.
