Stephen joined RSHP in 1993, was made an Associate in 2004 and Partner in 2016 and spent two years seconded to the RSHP Madrid oﬃce as project architect for Campus Palmas Altas in Seville.
Starting in 2008 Stephen led a multi-disciplinary team participating in the international consultancy on the future of metropolitan Paris “Le Grand Pari”, a masterplan for Greater Paris 2025 commissioned by former President Sarkozy, examining the changing needs of urban Paris in the 21st Century. Subsequent to that, Stephen has been project leader for two large mixed use masterplans in Paris, Bercy Charenton and more recently Gare de Lyon-Daumesnil. From 2012 Stephen has been leading the team
that won an international competition for the new Terminal at Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport and from 2016 he has been leading the team for Geneva Airport aile-EST.
Stephen has been an ongoing member of the RSHP sustainability group. He led the LEED certification process on the Campus Palmas Altas project in Seville and managed the environmental footprint audit of the practice’s own activities in 2008. He is a qualiﬁed BREEAM International Assessor.
