The practice is not owned by a single person which unites the practice. Everyone has a share of the profits and staff donate 20% of the profit to charity.
Our approach to design is not to create spaces that can generate hierarchies but encourage collaboration. Our public buildings are good examples of where we use design to break down hierarchies in buildings. We are fascinated in terms of the levels of richness that one can achieve by just understanding what a building is and what it brings to the wider community.
